Manti Templars (Manti, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Providence Hall Patriots (Herriman, UT), 14-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Templars now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carbon for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. Manti will battle a Dinos squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT). The Dinos record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Providence Hall falls to 18-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6.
