The Pinckneyville Panthers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Meridian Hawks to 4 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Pinckneyville improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, May 6. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 21-8. St. Joseph-Ogden won 10-3 in their recent league game against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL)
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 8. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 18-8 season record. The Bullets come into the game with a 14-9 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Morton (Morton, IL).
