The West Genesee Wildcats softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host South Jefferson Spartans to 9 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, West Genesee improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY) to clash with the Bees in a Section 3 Central Counties - National game on Monday, May 8. The Bees come into the game with a record of 6-5. Baldwinsville lost 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier A game, on Monday, May 8. South Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record.
