The Gainesville Bulldogs baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Alton Comets to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs (13-9) will now prepare for their match against Chadwick (Chadwick, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 0-9 record.
The Comets (11-12) will now prepare for their match against Southern Reynolds (Ellington, MO). The Whippets go into the Class 2 District 2 match with a 13-11 record. In their last match, Southern Reynolds was overwhelmed by Liberty (Mountain View, MO), 5-1, in a non-league match.
