The Newark Catholic Green Wave baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Danville Blue Devils to 2 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Monday.
The Green Wave (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Generals go into the non-league match with a 6-16 record. In their last match, Ridgewood was overwhelmed by Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH), 4-0, in a league match.
The Blue Devils (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Lucas (Lucas, OH). The Cubs go into the non-league match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Lucas gained a win over Loudonville (Loudonville, OH), 2-1, in a league match.
