The Lincoln Railsplitters crushed the visiting Rantoul Eagles baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Railsplitters now possess a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they host MacArthur for a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, May 7. Lincoln will face a Generals team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Generals record now stands at 4-17.
Next, the Eagles face the Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 10. Rantoul will attempt to move on its 9-16 season record. The Buffaloes enter the bout with a 2-19 record after their 7-5 league loss to Milford (Milford, IL).
