The Taylorville Tornadoes baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host MacArthur Generals to 2 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Monday.
The Tornadoes (12-14) will now prepare for their match against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators go into the non-league match with a 13-10 record.
The Generals (4-17) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters go into the Central State Eight match with a 16-8 record. In their last match, Lincoln tipped Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 10-0, in a non-league match.
