The Nokomis Warriors baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Waterville Panthers to 3 in the Warriors league victory on Monday.

The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams come into the Class B North challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Cony notched a victory over Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Waterville falls to 3-6 on the season. The Panthers host Lawrence (Fairfield, ME) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class B North challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Lawrence won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Cony (Augusta, ME)
