Illinois High School Baseball - Pleasant Plains loses to Normal University

In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Normal University Pioneers baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Pleasant Plains Cardinals.
The Pioneers (24-6) will now prepare for their game against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Cyclones go into the Central State Eight game with a 17-9 record. In their last game, Sacred Heart-Griffin was overwhelmed by O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL), 5-1, in a non-league game.
The Cardinals (23-5) will now prepare for their game against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans go into the Sangamo game with a 12-12 record. In their last game, Olympia overcame Auburn (Auburn, IL), 6-3, in a league game.
