In Monday's non-league battle, the host Rich Township Raptors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Thornton Fractional North Meteors.
The Raptors (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners come into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, Nazareth Academy achieved victory over Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Meteors clash with the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Thornton Fractional North will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 8-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL).
