Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ), 17-1 in a non-league battle.

The Indians now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Passaic County Tech for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 8. Wayne Valley will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Park Ridge Owls (Park Ridge, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Pompton Lakes will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Owls come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ).
