Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mohawk Area for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Neshannock will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Armstrong falls to 2-1 on the campaign.
