The Bath County Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Morgan County Cougars to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Bath County moves its record to 20-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Bourbon County (Paris, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league game on Thursday, May 9. The Colonels come into the game with a record of 8-10.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 9. Morgan County will attempt to move on its 2-15 season record.
