Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Bisons now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Bedford will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 11-6 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Rockwood falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Rockets host Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA) to battle the Red Raiders in a Inter County - West challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 16-1. Meyersdale won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Windber (Windber, PA)
