The Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) softball routed the visiting Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), 11-5 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Mountaineers (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 13-3 record. In their last bout, Immaculata held off Franklin (Somerset, NJ), 9-3, in a non-league bout.
The Gaels now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Franklin for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 8. Roxbury will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 13-6.
