The Cascade Cadets softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Plainfield Quakers to 0 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Cascade moves its record to 18-2 on the year. The Cadets host Monrovia (Monrovia, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Indiana Crossroads game on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 5-7. Monrovia won 9-8 in their recent non-league game against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN)

In their next game, the Quakers clash with the Mooresville Pioneers (Mooresville, IN) in a Mid-State game, on Tuesday, May 7. Plainfield will attempt to move on its 16-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 18-3 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN).
