Fort Plain Hilltoppers (Fort Plain, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they host Duanesburg for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Fort Plain will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Middleburgh falls to 0-9 on the campaign.
