The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs (Owendale, MI) and the visiting Hale Eagles (Hale, MI), saw Owendale-Gagetown's softball squad nip Hale by a count of 18-12.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Caseville for a North Central Thumb - Stripes match on Thursday, May 9. Owendale-Gagetown will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Mayville (Mayville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Hale falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI) to face the Cardinals in a North Star match on Wednesday, May 8. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 1-3.
