The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders the host Melrose Dutchmen softball squad by a count of 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Crusaders (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Little Falls (Little Falls, MN). The Flyers go into the Granite Ridge battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Little Falls was routed by Albany (Albany, MN), 14-3, in a league battle.
The Dutchmen now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Sauk Centre for a West Central battle on Tuesday, May 7. Melrose will meet a Mainstreeters squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 7-8.
