Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) and the host Othello Huskies (Othello, WA), witnessed Moses Lake's softball squad tip Othello by a count of 4-1.

The Mavericks now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eastmont for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match on Friday, May 10. Moses Lake will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Othello moves to 15-5 on the season.
