The Newark Tech Terries softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Orange Tornadoes to 5 in the Terries non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Newark Tech moves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Terries travel to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ) to play the Cougars in a SEC - Colonial game on Wednesday, May 8. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 12-5. Montclair Kimberley Academy won 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Doane Academy (Burlington, NJ)
