Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) and the visiting Noblesville Millers (Noblesville, IN), witnessed Yorktown's softball squad tip Noblesville by a count of 5-2.

The Tigers now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Castle for a Hoosier Heritage match on Tuesday, May 7. Yorktown will face a Trojans squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Jay County (Portland, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Noblesville moves to 11-9 on the season. The Millers travel to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a Hoosier Crossroads match on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 12-7. Brownsburg won 11-1 in their recent league match against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)
