New York High School Softball - South Jefferson bounces Thousand Islands

The South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) softball routed the host Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY), 7-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Indian River (Philadelphia, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Indian River was routed by Lowville (Lowville, NY), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host South Lewis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 7. Thousand Islands will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 9-1.
