Illinois High School Baseball - Annawan-Wethersfield nips Rockridge

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Annawan-Wethersfield Titans baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Rockridge Rockets.
The Titans (16-9) will now prepare for their game against Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Princes go into the Lincoln Trail game with a 10-14 record. In their last game, Princeville was tipped by Farmington (Farmington, IL), 12-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rockets play the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) in a Three Rivers game, on Thursday, May 8. Rockridge will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 14-11 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Fulton (Fulton, IL).
