The Bell City Cubs baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Gideon Bulldogs to 0 in the Cubs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cubs now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Risco for a Class 1 District 2 test on Friday, May 9.

With the defeat, Gideon drops to 3-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to South Pemiscot (Steele, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-12. South Pemiscot won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Malden (Malden, MO)
