The Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) baseball trounced the host Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), 24-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Attica for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Lafayette Central Catholic will clash with a Red Ramblers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN). The Red Ramblers record now stands at 4-8.
With the defeat, Caston drops to 13-6 on the year. The Comets host Oregon-Davis (Hamlet, IN) to clash with the Bobcats in a Hoosier North challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Oregon-Davis lost 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Triton (Bourbon, IN)
