The Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Maple Leafs now own a 12-15 record. They take the field next when they host East Moline United for a Western Big Six challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Geneseo will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-2 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 16-9.

With the defeat, Kewanee drops to 10-14 on the year. The Boilermakers host Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to clash with the Comets in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 20-3. Newman Central Catholic won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
