The Northern Guilford Nighthawks baseball squad (Greensboro, NC), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC)

With the triumph, Marvin Ridge moves its record to 19-7 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to confront the Huskies in a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 19-4. Hough won 11-2 in their recent non-league contest against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)

The Nighthawks now possess a 16-9 record.
