In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Rush City Tigers.
The Huskies (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Mora (Mora, MN). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Mora by Aitkin (Aitkin, MN), 6-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Ogilvie Lions (Ogilvie, MN) in a Great River game, on Thursday, May 8. Rush City will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 9-4 record after their 12-2 league win over Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN).
