The Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) baseball the host Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL), 9-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rochester for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. Mt. Zion will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 18-3 league win over MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 17-7.
With the defeat, Tolono Unity drops to 14-9 on the year. The Rockets travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a Illini Prairie challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 26-2. St. Joseph-Ogden won 12-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Milford (Milford, IL)
