The North Putnam Cougars (Roachdale, IN) baseball the host Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN), 5-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cloverdale for a Western Indiana challenge on Thursday, May 8. North Putnam will clash with a Clovers team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Clovers record now stands at 4-10.
With the defeat, Owen Valley drops to 9-2 on the year. The Patriots host Cascade (Clayton, IN) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Cadets go into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Cascade won 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN)
