The Olathe Northwest Ravens baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Shawnee Mission South Raiders to 0 in the Ravens league win on Tuesday.
The Ravens now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Lawrence Free State for a Sunflower test on Thursday, May 8. Olathe Northwest will play a Firebirds team coming off a 4-1 league win over Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS). The Firebirds record now stands at 13-2.
With the defeat, Shawnee Mission South drops to 7-8 on the year. The Raiders travel to St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS) to play the Thunder in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 7-11. St. James Academy won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS)
