In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), by a score of 13-2.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 9. Topsail will attempt to advance on its 14-11 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 23-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).
