In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Niles Notre Dame Dons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marian Catholic Spartans.
The Dons (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks come into the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 24-1 record. In their last challenge, Marist beat Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic challenge, on Thursday, May 8. Marian Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL).
