In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Albemarle Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 triumph over the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos.
The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record.
Next, the Flying Flucos clash with the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Fluvanna County will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the test with a 4-6 record after their 19-1 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
