Illinois High School Soccer - South Elgin nudges Benet Academy

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host South Elgin Storm soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Benet Academy Redwings.
The Storm (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres go into the Upstate Eight West outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Streamwood got by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Redwings play the Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 8. Benet Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Broncos go into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL).
