In Tuesday's league outing, the host West Aurora Blackhawks soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Elgin Maroons.
The Blackhawks (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm go into the Upstate Eight West outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, South Elgin got by Streamwood (Streamwood, IL), 8-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Maroons confront the Harvest Christian Academy Lions (Elgin, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 8. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 13-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL).
