New York High School Lacrosse - Aquinas Institute overwhelms Akron

May 6, 2025: Rochester, NY 14613

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Aquinas Institute Little Irish lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-4 triumph over the Akron Tigers.

The Little Irish (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Webster Thomas (Webster, NY). The Titans enter the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Webster Thomas was overwhelmed by Brighton (Rochester, NY), 13-11, in a non-league test.

Next, the Tigers battle the Iroquois Redhawks (Elma, NY) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 9. Akron will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Redhawks enter the test with a 3-9 record after their 11-3 league loss to Hamburg (Hamburg, NY).
