The Albemarle Patriots lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos to 3 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Matoaca for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Albemarle will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Fluvanna County falls to 5-5 on the year. The Flying flucos travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to clash with the Fighting Hornets in a Jefferson challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Fighting Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 2-9.
