The Wadsworth Grizzlies lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Aurora Greenmen to 1 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Stow-Munroe Falls for a Region 2 challenge on Thursday, May 8. Wadsworth will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Aurora falls to 1-12 on the year. The Greenmen host Highland (Medina, OH) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Highland won 14-11 in their recent league challenge against Copley (Copley, OH)
