In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Grand Haven Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 triumph over the Portage Central Mustangs.
The Buccaneers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Portage Northern held off Portage Central (Portage, MI), 9-5, in a league contest.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Coopersville Broncos (Coopersville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 8. Portage Central will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Broncos go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 26-3 non-league win over Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI).
