The Yorktown Patriots lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 9 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Herndon for a Liberty challenge on Thursday, May 8. Yorktown will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 12-1 league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Washington-Liberty falls to 11-3 on the year. The Generals host Langley (McLean, VA) to clash with the Saxons in a Liberty challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Saxons go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Langley lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA)
