Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) and the host Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), saw Kecoughtan's soccer squad knock off Denbigh by a count of 5-3.

The Warriors (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders enter the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Poquoson by Warhill (Williamsburg, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Denbigh will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 4-1 league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA).
