The Sedro-Woolley Cubs softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Burlington-Edison Tigers to 0 in the Cubs league win on Tuesday.

The Cubs now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Thursday, May 8. Sedro-Woolley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-6 league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Burlington-Edison moves to 10-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bellingham (Bellingham, WA) to confront the Bayhawks in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Thursday, May 8. The Bayhawks come into the battle with a record of 0-17. Bellingham lost 7-0 in their recent league battle against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
