In Tuesday's non-league test, the Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), by a tally of 17-7.
Next, the Cubs clash with the Baltic Bulldogs (Baltic, SD) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Chamberlain will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 7-12 record after their 19-4 league win over Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
The Pheasants (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Elkton/Lake Benton was routed by Baltic (Baltic, SD), 19-4, in a league test.
