The Puxico Indians overwhelmed the host Clarkton Reindeer softball squad by a count of 22-9 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Ellington Whippets (Ellington, MO) in a Class 1 District 3 challenge, on Monday, May 12. Puxico will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Whippets go into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Clearwater (Piedmont, MO).

The Reindeer (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Campbell (Campbell, MO). The Camels go into the Class 1 District 1 challenge with a 7-22 record. In their last challenge, Campbell toppled Richland (Essex, MO), 30-21, in a non-league challenge.
