The Como Park Cougars overwhelmed the host Humboldt Hawks softball squad by a count of 23-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. Como Park will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
The Hawks (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Harding (St. Paul, MN). The Knights go into the St. Paul City challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Harding toppled Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN), 19-2, in a non-league challenge.
