Delaware High School Softball - Indian River knocked off by Delmar

May 6, 2025: Delmar, DE 19940

The Delmar Wildcats overwhelmed the visiting Indian River Indians softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen South challenge, on Thursday, May 8. Delmar will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Seahawks go into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 13-8 league win over Laurel (Laurel, DE).

The Indians (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE). The go into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record.
