The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Salt Fork Storm to 1 in the Falcons non-league win on Tuesday.
The Falcons now possess a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will confront a Chargers team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Salt Fork moves to 19-4 on the season. The Storm host Seeger (West Lebanon, IN) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 6-13. Seeger won 18-1 in their recent league battle against Covington (Covington, IN)
