In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Lawrenceville Indians softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Washington Hatchets.
The Indians (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Newton (Newton, IL). The Eagles come into the Little Illini match with a 17-0 record. In their last match, Newton notched a victory over Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 6-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Hatchets confront the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 6. Washington will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record.
